Why can't I see all my folders in Dropbox when trying to import?

Some folder types are blocked by the Dropbox API

There are a few folder types that Dropbox doesn't allow us to see based on their API.

  • Folders with restricted access (meaning shared folders with specific permissions)

  • Folders that are set to NOT sync on a user's Desktop (again, based on restrictions!)

  • Team folders or folders containing locked files.

If your folders do not fall into any of these categories, please contact a support agent through the chat icon in your workspace to troubleshoot!
