We’ve always been concerned about the security of your files - but now, you can add an extra layer of protection to your account with 2FA.

Two-factor authentication logs individual users into their accounts with two layers; a password and a one-time use token generated from an authenticator app. With 2FA enabled, you will need both to log in to your workspace.

To enable 2FA in your Stockpress account, visit your profile settings by clicking your user icon in the top right-hand corner of your workspace and clicking the edit (pencil) icon.

Add two-factor authentication

From the Two-Factor Authentication tab, you will see a QR code.

Download and install one of the below authenticator apps to your iOS or Android device.

From the app, scan the QR code and enter the 6-digit code generated by the app.

Click save. You have now enabled 2FA in your Stockpress account!

When logging into your Stockpress workspace, a new 2FA field will appear after entering your email and password. Open your authenticator app to generate a token and enter it in the field.

You can remove 2FA from your account at any time by clicking the Remove 2FA button from your profile settings.

Copy your recovery codes

If for any reason you lose access to your authenticator app, you have 10 one-time use recover codes that can be used to log in. Click Show recover codes to reveal the codes and save them in a secure location for future use.
