Installing the Stockpress plugin
Visit the Stockpress plugin page through the Figma Community page here. You can access this page from the Integrations page in Stockpress, too.
Make sure you’re logged into your Figma account and click the Open in button to select the Figma document you want to open the plugin in.
From the plugin screen, click the Run button to log into your Stockpress workspace.
Click Connect and enter your email address to find your workspace(s).
If you have multiple Stockpress workspaces, you will only be able to access one workspace at a time.
Once logged in, all of your workspace files and Collections will load in the Stockpress plugin.
Tip: You can access the Stockpress plugin anytime from the Plugins menu. In your browser or your desktop app, click the Figma logo mark in the top left-hand corner of your page. Navigate to Plugins from the dropdown options and launch Stockpress.
Adding files from the Stockpress plugin
You can add image files from your Stockpress plugin to Figma by clicking the file once or clicking the insert icon below the file.
Once the file is on your page or in your chosen Frame, you can resize it as needed within Figma.

Exporting Frames
You can export one Frame or multiple Frames, one image, or multiple images from Figma to Stockpress with just a few clicks.
To export a Frame or Frames from any page within Figma, click the Export Frames button in your Stockpress plugin to export all Frames in your document to your Stockpress workspace.
In the Export Settings modal, you have a few options. You can choose to export Frames from the current page or all of the pages in your document.
Next, select your scale and extension. The scale will default to 1x, but you can also choose a smaller or larger scale based on need. For extension, you can choose png, svg, jpg, or pdf.
Once selected, click save.
In the next modal, you can add custom file names or descriptions and create or select a Collection in your Stockpress workspace for the frames to be uploaded to. If you have file statuses and/or expiration dates enabled in your workspace, you can also fill in these fields, but they are optional. Add these details to all of your frames/files at once, or you can uncheck and individually select them in the sidebar to apply names and descriptions to only select frames/files.
You can expand and collapse the sidebar with your file(s) to see a larger preview of the frames you are exporting as well as the file names you are adding.
Once you’re ready, click save, and the frames will be made available as files in your Stockpress workspace.
Exporting images
To export an image or images, select the image(s) in your document that you want to export, click the dropdown in your Export Frames button, and select Export Selected.
To export all the images in your document without having to select them, click the dropdown in your Export Frames button and select Export All Images.
Follow the same steps in the Export Settings modal for the scale and extension, add your metadata, and select your Collection.
Adding project links
If you want to give users in your Stockpress workspace direct access to the Frames or images you export to Stockpress back in Figma, you can add an optional Frame URL to your export.
To do this, toggle on the Include Frames URL toggle and place the link to your document from the browser URL bar. If you’re using the desktop app, select any Frame on your page, click the Dev icon at the top left of your frame, and click Copy Link.
With this feature enabled, we’ll automatically add links to every frame and/or image and add them to the single file view in your workspace.
Click the Open in Figma button from the file in your workspace, and you can go directly to that frame or image in Figma.
