Learn how to add the Stockpress plugin for WordPress.

Install the Stockpress plugin for WordPress to quickly add files to your WordPress website from your Stockpress workspace.

Installing the Stockpress plugin

Head to your WordPress plugin area and click Add New Plugin.

Search for Stockpress and install and activate the plugin.

From the Stockpress plugin settings page (Settings --> Stockpress) you will be asked to connect to your workspace. If you are a member of multiple Stockpress workspaces, you can only select one to connect.

Once connected, you will see three tabs in the Stockpress plugin settings area.

Click on the metadata mapping tab to import metadata from your Stockpress workspace files.

You can connect your file name and description fields from your Stockpress workspace, and any Custom Fields you have added. These fields can be mapped to the following fields in WordPress:

  • File Name

  • Caption

  • Description

  • Alt Text field

With the Stockpress plugin installed and your workspace connected, a new Stockpress tab will be available in your media library when inserting files into posts and pages.

Add an image block in WordPress

From any page or post, add an image block.

From the media library, click on the Stockpress tab. Your workspace will load, and you can browse all files and all Collections. And even run a search based on keywords or tags.

If you want to send multiple images quickly, click on the Upload to Media Library icon to send files to your media library.

Click the Upload and select icon to send the file and switch automatically back to the media library tab. This is where you’ll add the image to your page or post.
