Creating Collections and Smart Collections

Collections can add an extra layer of organization to your workspace without duplicating your files. They also give you that control over visibility and access for other users in your workspace, which is super useful for cross-team collaboration or client sharing.

Collections are extremely flexible, so don’t worry if your first setup isn’t the right one. You can add, delete, or move files or Collections around your workspace for a completely new structure in no time.

Creating Custom Tag Categories

Tag Categories are a great way to group your tags into meaningful buckets, such as Location, Campaign, Product Type, and more. With Custom Tag Categories in place, your tagging system becomes much more organized, searchable, and easier for your whole team to use. Always think about how you and your team might search for files so you can get the best possible results.

Guest Upload Pages

Get files from people outside your workspace, without having to add them as full users. Think contractors, clients, partners - anyone! Guest upload pages are a great way to collect assets with a simple, secure upload link that you control.

Creating Custom User Roles

User roles are used in Stockpress to control what users can and can’t do in your workspace — things like uploading files, sharing files, downloading files, and more.

By default, every workspace comes with a few standard roles. Admin, Manager, Editor, and User, but you can create unlimited custom roles to fit your use case.
