Note: Tags can be blocked by Admins, Managers, or custom user roles with access to the workspace settings.
Blocking tags in your settings
If a tag is being added repeatedly to your workspace files and it's not relevant, for example, 'ice cream truck' when you're a van company, you can block it in your workspace settings.
Head to your workspace settings and from the Files and Collections section, select Custom Tag Categories.
From within the Tag Category of choice, search for or select the tag you want to block.
From the modal, toggle on 'Blocked' and click Save. Blocked tags will be automatically hidden from any files containing the tag.
From the tags list view, you can filter to Blocked or Not Blocked terms.
If you unblock a tag, that tag will reappear on all the files where it originally was.
When a tag is blocked in a Custom Tag Category, users will NOT be allowed to add it in the upload modal or the single file view.
