Deleting and restoring files and Collections from trash

Learn how to restore deleted files from your trash

When you delete files and Collections, they are automatically moved to the trash. Files are held in the trash for different durations depending on your Stockpress tier.

  • Essentials: 10 days

  • Pro: 30 days

  • Premium: 60 days

Restoring files and Collections from trash

File and Collection Trash

To restore files or Collections from the trash, click the three-dot menu in your sidebar and select Trash.

The trash will contain all Collections and files that have been deleted. You can restore single files or Collections, or multiple files or Collections.

Restore a single file or Collection

To restore a single file or Collection, click the Restore icon on the file or Collection.

Restore multiple files or Collections

To restore multiple files or Collections, select the files or Collections that you want to restore and click the Restore icon from the action bar at the bottom of the screen.

When restoring Collections, you can toggle on Also restore files to restore the files in this Collection as well.

Permanently deleting files and Collections from trash

In order to completely remove files or Collections from your workspace, you must permanently delete them from the trash.

To permanently delete a single file or Collection, click the Permanently delete icon on the file or Collection.

Permanently delete multiple files and Collections

To permanently delete multiple files or Collections, select the files or Collections that you want to delete and click the Permanently delete icon from the action bar at the bottom of the screen.

Confirm deletion

Confirm that you want to permanently delete the files. This can NOT be undone!

Empty trash

Empty file trash

You can empty your entire trash at any time by clicking the Emtpy trash button in the top right or your trash.
